Challenging the status quo

“If they say it’s impossible, remember it’s impossible for them, not you.”

How often do we limit our dreams and therefore limit our God-given talents and ambitions and purpose simply because we have bought into this idea that things have to be a certain way?

Examples: We have to go to work because everyone else does. We have to work 9-5 to pay the bills. We have to be an employee and climb the corporate ladder to get ahead. We need stability and risk is a no-no.

It’s easy to follow the status quo. It takes courage to challenge it.

It takes courage to own up to the fact that you’re not happy with the direction you’re headed and you know you’re not being true to who God intended you to be.

It takes courage to say yes when an opportunity to change things up comes along.

Doesn’t mean it’ll be instant. Doesn’t mean it’ll be without challenges. But will it be worth it? Yes it will.

Now tell me ... what goals are you running after?
